Pierre.Brico:Hi Jan,Concerning the ""Dictionary English.2-1-0 not found" problem, it seems that PSPad now looks for its dictionary in "C:\program files\Common files\SynSpell". If I copy the content of PSPad spell directory there, PSPad's Spell Check works again.
Regards,
Pierre
In this folder are stored custom dictionaries, not main dictionaries.
I am not able to simulate your problem

Interesting theory JollyRoger. My installation is in the default folder (c:\program files\pspad editor), so I guess that's not the cause of the problem.
Also, in response to the workaround, I don't have a "C:\program files\Common files\SynSpell" so I'm puzzled why that folder isn't present if that's supposed to be the location for custom dictionaries. Mine are in "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\SpellCheck\".
Odd that some of us have this dictionary problem and others don't. Makes it difficult for Jan to fix.

I assume the location of the custom dictionaries would depend on wether you chose the multi-user environment during installation. I, for one, did a minimal installation without multi-user environment so I wouldn't really know.

wal:Settings > Highlighter settings > Colors
Settings > Program settings > ColorsCompletely agree with lphilpot: old color selection window was better.
I also agree. Could we have the old color selection dialog or a way to add custom colors with the new dialog ?
The ruler doesn't look quite ok to me. Could the backgroud color used for the ruler be the same as the left gutter color since the other gutter colors seem to be used? As it is now the ruler doesn't look very good, it could either use all the colors of the left gutter or it could revert to the old way it looked

I effectively used filemon from sysinternals. It can show you all accesses done by a process. This is very useful. In this special case, I can see that PSPad try to open dictionary from C:\Program Files\Common Files\SynSpell (probably default for SynEdit component) but I don't see any attempt to open dictionary in PSPad installed directory.
Regards,
Pierre
PS: there're a lot of other useful tools like 'aport' (list of all opened ports), 'ntregmon' (monitoring of registry accesses), ...

Thanks for the new build.
Small issue here.
I use C/C++ compiler settings to start pc-lint with cpp files.
I access to read only files (version control system).
The option "Save all files bevor compilaton" is not checked.
When I start the External Compiler (with button or menue option) I get following message box:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
Error saving file "c:\temp\test_file.cpp"
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
I can not save it (it's read only) and I dont want save it.
Is it a small bug?
or
How can I switch off that automatic file save?

When you click on it to change the selection type, you can select text in different ways, but the icon remains the same.
Worked before...
Thanks,
DT

If file is modified you should undo changes or save it. Into compiler you must send current file.
