Imagine this example in a *.c file:
#include "version.h" /* here */
The C/C++ Code-Explorer will show the / character behind the file name.
A 2nd example in a *.c file:
#include "version.h" // C/C++
The C/C++ Code-Explorer will not show any extra character as expected.

The 2243 build shows a message box whenever I want to open another file in PsPad (while at least one file is opened in the editor). This happens for the "open this linked file" context menu item too.
It doesnt happen if I turn of the single PsPad instance in the settings.
Is this an assertion box?

Thank for this new update
Daniel:I have a suggestion on supporting UTF-8 with and without BOM. Is it possible to add another Code page type in the "Format" menu just like the 2 UTF-16 types "UTF-16 LE" and "UTF-16 BE" so you now have "UTF-8" and "UTF-8 BOM". You can then remove the obscure "indent.bytes in UTF-8 coding" option in the "Program behaviour" section of "Program Settings".
This is a nice and lovely feature. It would be great for me too

I can't extract all the cab file... I got an error on PSP launch... "it's non a valid win32 executable"
OS WinXP(sp2) -> weird thing: the PSPad.exe size it's 3.5 (the exe within the given cab file)

Hi Jan,
I noticed a strang behaviour of PSPad. I have a small tool converting binary files into base 64 text files. After converting a executable file (let say tool.exe), I will have a file call tool.exe.b64 in the same directory containing the executable but in base 64.
Now, in the Windows Explorer, I use context menu to edit tool.exe.b64 (text version) and PSPad always opens the binary file (tool.exe). However on the tab title, I can see the right name tool.exe.b64.
Opening the file in Notepad (from Microsoft) shows the correct content ...
Regards,
Pierre

I tested the latest beta version. I send you an email several weeks ago with the same bug.
How to reproduce it:
- create a "Lorem ipsum" text with some paragraphs (e.g. 4)
- have "word wrap lines" active (Ctrl+W or View->word wrap lines)
- place cursor in last paragraph
- use "Edit->Lines Manipulation->Swap with Line Above" several times.
Result:
The previously word wraped lines are now single lines (the words that had been wraped to the next lines are deleted).
Words are not deleted when "word wrap lines" is in-active.

This is the best editor I had ever used!
Now I noticed a strange behaviour. I use it at home on a notebook connected to an external LCD monitor. Normally, I use only the LCD, keeping the notebook monitor off. Till this version PSPad is not able to recall last window position on that external monitor. Is that a bug or a feature?
