PHP variable double click does not select $ dollar sign

#1 PHP variable double click does not select $ dollar sign

Posted by: peter.feldhammer@gmx.net | Date: 2026-09-09 08:12 | IP: IP Logged

Since the latest version 5.5.2 (581):
Editing a PHP file (HTML multihighliter is shown) if I double click a variable it does not select the dollar sign ($), it selects only the letters after the dollar sign.
So if I double click $var only var is selected.

This problem is also with umlauts.
If I edit a Shell Script xy.sh (Highlighter UNIX Shell Script, Format Unicode UTF-8 no BOM (65001)) and double click the word "Österreich" only "sterreich" is selected.

Best regards Peter
