highlighter for long assembler files

On Z80 assembler files bigger than 20000 lines the highlighter shows for a very short time the color. I have to select the highlighter manually then it is ok. An assembler file with 17000 lines comes immediately with the colored words. Is that OK?

There is a limit for highlighting bigger files

Go to the Program settings / DirectEdit button
find line HlOnUpToSize=xxxx
Change value to 500000 and save

When you open the file, on the status line is the correct Z80 highlighter?

HLOnUpToSize=number of bytes.

How big is your file? Try to set there 1 million (1000000)

my assembler file is 2.4 MB so I changed it to 3000000 and now it is working fine.
