Sorry if this has already been reported. I couldn't find a matching report.
I have a problem with the cursor failing to move away from the top left corner. I can reproduce it consistently as follows:
1) Open a new document.
2) Paste text into the document (the cursor moves to the end of the text).
3) Use ctrl-H for find and replace (while the cursor is still at the end of the text).
4) Enter text to find and replace.
5) When prompted, choose to continue search from start of file.
6) Click "Yes to All" to replace all occurrences.
The cursor will no longer move away from the top left.
I am using v5.0.7 (775) in Windows 11 Pro v23H2.

Hi,
i can confirm this glitch, (also in the Version 5.5.1. 817, 32bit).
It occurs with the replace option [x] Prompt Each Replace
It seems to be some kind of "phantom cursor" - after the mentioned replacement, it is even outside of the editing area, i.e. with line numbers visible it blinks on the left of the line number 1.
However, if one switches to another text tab, its cursor is usable and can be moved normally; after switching back to the previous, invalid tab, the cursor now stays at this changed position.
regards,
vbr
