Some Perl document (*pl or *pm) are not code-formatted after opening PSPad

Hi,

I have usually open several Perl programming language files in PSPad (in their own tabs). A Few of them are *.pl and some *.pm files. I have setup PSPad in a such way that it will remember last opened files. When I close PSPad and then open it later, files are reopened OK but some *pm or *pl files are not code-formatted. I have to trigger this formatting manually via "code formatting" icon (Menu view->Change Syntax). This issue is present for many years already I just reported it now in the PSPAd 5.5.1 (790) version.

I guess you mean syntax highlight.
How big are your files? There is filr size limit for automatic file highlight

Open program settings / direct edit button. Look for HlUpToSize=nnnnnn
And change limit e.g. to 1 milion

Yes, exactly... I mean syntax highlighting. Files are between 3000 and 20 000 lines long.

Yes, one file is above default 500 000 Bytes... I will change config to the 1 000 000 B and test again. Many thanks.
