#1 Autosave & Save: Blank file bug! (0 bytes)

It happens with autosave active and pressing save button at the same time. PSPAD crashes, (sometimes Windows reboots too). Entire file is lost (0 bytes).

This bug affects a lot of versions, including version 5.5.1 (790). I'm not sure if hibernating the computer can affect. PSPad was open many days in a row.

I really like this editor and prefer it over other options, however it requires taking certain precautions (autosave disabled and backups).

Hello.
If you have problem with operating system - I never heard that PSpad causes OS restart, it's possible that sile isn't stored to drive from memory cache - this is OS business.

300KB text file gone. I had to restart from the previous week's saved file.

Do you have no backup activated? PSPad knows it.
Do you save your file locally, on the network or FTP?

Backup option was not active in Pspad. It saved locally.
