The in PSPAD.ini saved configuration is still not read and evaluated in this Update-Version 5.0.7(623)
I think the last working PSPAD-Version was 5.0.6(589), but i use now 5.0.7(586) is more stable...

I solved similar problem with another user. Problem was corrupted ini file

Copy pspad.ini somewhere and open it.
Correct lines are:
Variable=value
Or
[section name]
If you see any other lines forms, delete it, save it and return back to pspad.

you are right it did something. But it was a lot of the wrong lines ...

but why my old version PSPAD 5.0.7(586) don't have any problems with this corrupt configuration ?

I changed library for work with ini files. The new is much faster. I guess the old one ignored wrong lines.
Your INI can be corrupted long time.

I will try to investigate library sources and if it will be possible, i will modify it to handle wrong lines.

I found a problem in reading. Next build will be able handle "corrupted" PSpad.ini too
