#1 Tool panel, project buttons

I recently upgraded from PSPad 4.6.2 to version 5.0.1, and I encountered a bug.
I'm using windows 7/32. Tested with PSPad v5.0.1 and v5.0.2b346.

When I open PSPad, the tabs and icons in the project tab of the tool panel are much wider then usual.
If I go to "Setting/Program settings" and press "OK" the display is redrawn and the icons have the right size.

Also note in the screenshot, that the hue of the brown buttons is darker after the "fix". It's something I noted when making the gif.

If you will make left panel wider - drag the splitter between panel and editor, you will get all in one line.
Can you tell me your current monitor DPI?

I supposed that it's what appears in the top right corner of the splashscreen on the screenshot.

It's what I've done right away after installing v5. Then going through the settings changing one or two things (don't remember what), saved. Then I realized it (saving the settings) changed the size of the icons like in the new screenshot.

I'm sure that I initially only changed an option in "update".
I never touched "Program (part 1) / Toolbar icon set".

I've played a bit (5 minutes ago) with it and there is no size problem when I select "PSPad classic", "Silk" or "Valka". But once I select "PSPad", it needs the extra step of saving the settings to fix the size issue.
It makes me think that at startup pspad skips a step when the selected "Toolbar icon set" is "PSPad".

[away from writing to test an idea]

OK, I've made a copy of "PSPad.bmp" as "PSPad Copy.bmp" and selected "PSPad Copy" in "Toolbar icon set", and now the issue is gone.
