on one of my machine started bew Pspad starting every time very slowly - 30s to open simple file, Notepad++ is able open files without such delay.

Your PSpad version? Try current developer build from PSPad developer forum.

There can be few problems - try to restore files from slow network, antivirus will slow down scripting...

Try this:
program settings / System - disable scripting
start PSpad as admin - program settings / Program 2 - disable splash screen
program settings / Files and dirs - check store from local drives only

i still have this problem.. I cant find where is Scripting now in settings.

I suspect that is connected with other problem and that is incomplete recent documents list, maybe is there problem that some documents are originated in Windows network shares.

Interesting this is that this problem is for every new document, but if reopen it, its fast, as i wrote Notepad++ has not such problem.

Maybe it would need some debug to get actions during Pspad starting.

When i start Pspad through *.exe its fine, but when try to open *.txt and start it this wait is super slow 30s to 60s.

Machine is 9900K, Windows are working fine, maybe with expcetion right mouse click - OpenWith it takes a quite a long time to load possible compatible programs list, its probably because i have installed quite a lot of programs.

How big is your file?
In program settings / Files and dirs press button Clear history.
Maybe some file is damaged.
