Opening large XML files hangs PSPad for long time

I'm trying to open a large XML file (>6 MB):
-> ftp.otrs.org (a package for OTRS)

Notepad++ opens it in milliseconds. PSPad opens it and I assume the XML highlighter needs much time to work. So PSPad hangs for more than a minute (I killed it than).

Is it possible to make this as fast as Notepad++?
