slow start (not SSL problem) but start-up splash screen (solved)

PSPad is starting too slow, after looking with process explorer I found that break for 2s with this:

I don't understand, why your system is trying to create file RichEd20.dll. It's system library located in \Windows\SysWow64 and \Windows\System32 folders

I will try to investigate it

It's simple, I have installed c:\progs\pspad\PSPad.exe , so it's try first Exe path for searching DLL.

I tried old versions and this is result:
until version
Build 2453 - fast start (<1s) (http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,60198)

starting with
Build 2455 - slow start (>3s) (http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,60628)

I've just run into the same problem and solved it by simply disabling the start-up screen (version 4.6.0)

The difference is tremendous, the start-up time decreased from couple of seconds the half a second. This bug/feature is really misfortunate, just because of this I've been seeking an alternative editor until I managed to overcome the problem.

same problem, same solution.
the startup is now 10X FASTER.
please, this should be a default setting or the slowness of the splashscreen should be resolved. I was even thinking of trying a different editor, just because how slow it was. Im starting it like 5-20 times a day.

There were intentional delay showing splash screen.
I modified SplashScreen behavior to don't delay start of program.
I did some other modification too, I hope you will be kindly surprised
