System error. Code:5 "Access denied/forbidden"

Hi guys
1)first of all, where error logs are stored? (when the app crash have no way to copy and paste the error shown for this reason have reported screenshoot below)

2)sometimes only (and that is the problem...) when I go back to work on my pc and unlock the screen* (with my usual windows login password) pspad crash :( and is very annoying because of course can't save the modified files or copy text (for example of the "new file" I use as "daily clipboard" I discard at the end of the day**)

* not sure but looking at "stack list generated time" seems the crash happening when locking windows (with me realize when going back to unlock)

**not sure too but seems related to how much "text" there is on this "new file" (few text = no problem)

I am very long pspad user and only recently (since about 2 months) the problem occurs (and is not related to app version) running windows 10 and doing regular windows updates
have the feeling running pspad as administrator fix the problem, but as said before is hard to understand what fix the problems since errors not always happens

Do you use the current 4.6.2 version? There were problem if you let PSPad connected using FTP with TLS/SSL connection.

I am using 4.6.1, updating now let see... but pretty sure does not fix the problem (I would be glad to know full error message)

update: error happened again with 4.6.2 BUT do not crash, so I am able to
1) copy and paste full error login
2) save opened files!

I would say is definitely matter of the "new.txt" file left unsaved and very likely Operating System related (some kind of memory protection triggered after some times passing)

Although "Stack list, generated" time tell me the error happens when locking windows I NEVER able to cause it on purpose (I can lock windows 100 times and no errors) and I ALWAYS realize the error when back after at least a couple of hours

Can kindly suggest how to run as administrator starting from shortcut?
I mean if exist something like"C:\Program Files (x86)\PSPad editor\PSPad.exe" /???

Possibility to run app as admin is part of the shortcut. I don't remember exactly where, maybe on the compatibility tab.

Right click on the shortcut
> Properties
> Advanced
> check the box "Always run as administrator
> OK > Apply > OK

Thanks for the hints but I confirm does not solve the issue that is definitely
1)because of the new text document unsaved
2)happens exactly in the moment when locking Windows screen

not a big issue at all now since version 4.6.2 psp do not crash but only prompt the error ;)

It could be a stupid way,
Why not reset your Windows password ?So you can reinstall your system, it's a new start,

Why not reset your Windows password ?So you can reinstall your system, it's a new start,
