I finally upgraded from 5.0.4, but Ctrl+Shift+A does nothing. The menu Format > Add/Remove comment also does not work. Is this a known bug, or do I have to change a setting?

Add/Ten ve comment works for line commenst for selected lines. Internal highlighters comments are defined, for user defined highlighters there is a field to define comment

Sorry if I am misunderstanding. When I select a line, and use Ctrl+Shift+A, or, if I use menu > Format > Add/Remove Comment, the selected line does not get commented.
I looked at User Highlighter settings but don't understand how to configure it.

What file type (highlighter) are we talking about?

Hello all,
sorry for intruding into this thread, but I noticed the same issue, if it is one at all. I'm trying to comment out lines of a LSL script via CTRL+SHIFT+A, which does not work. But it does work for PHP and JS files. Is there any configuration related to this?
Would be fine if we can define a single-line comment depending on programming language e.g. as "//%line%" or "##%line%" or something similar.
I checked the window "User Highlighter definition". Here a Screenshot.
Is there anything I can enable to make commenting via short-cut work?
Friendly greetings
Ravelli

Single line comment is defined in the highlighter.
As I guess, your LSL script is user highlighter
