Is there a setting so clicking links using Ctrl/Click will open the link in a browser. As it is it takes two steps.

It works in text file, there is an Option in the Program settings / Editor 1
Highlight URL address if no highlighter
When Highlighter is active, you can select address and use context menu (right mouse button) to open selection in browser

I use ctrl/click and it open the URL in a browser but I have to select the browser window to see the results. I would like it to switch to the browser window when I use Ctrl/click

I request system to open URL in your default browser. But I don't know which browser handle links and I am not able to move your browser to the front then. I don't know if browser is already open or it opens when links is sent to it.

The browser is already open. In all other programs like email client, focus switches to the browser.
