Is it possible to configure PsPad so that it automatically starts a program whenever a file is saved, ideally with the name of the saved file as parameter?

I am afraid I don't fully understand.
You want to start PSPad with nonexisting file as parameter?

I would like to run a program (that I will write myself) with the name of the file that I just saved as parameter.
The idea is to make an automatic version control sytem. Everytime a file has been saved to disk, my program should be called. It will read the newly saved file, increase the minor version number by 1 and write it back to the disk.

Highlighter settings / compiler or external applications
Same function is on the favorite panel, if you don't want to have file type depending

Left panel (file explorer, ftp, favorite tab). Add "tool" there
