I have made some changes to my PsPad configuration, and I don't know what mistake I made.

Until now, when I entered the command "PsPad abc.txt" and the file abc.txt was already open in PsPad, the program just activated the already runnning PsPad window and switched to the tab with this filename. Now, a new instance of Pspad starts and the same file is open in two windows.

How can I change the configuration of PsPad back so that it returns to the old behaviour?

Ehat foes it means "it's open in 2 windows"? Do you mean 2 pspads are open?

Yes, thank you, that was the problem. I unintenionally have enabled running multiple copies of PsPad in the configuration. Resetting this was enough to make Pspad work as it has always done.
