I'm new to coding and I'm trying to compile an example file using Lysti.
After creating the code and saving it when I try to compile I get the following error:
LP5523 Lysti compiler v.0.8
source file C:\Users\goldmj6\OneDrive
output code file C:\Users\goldmj6\OneDrive.hex
Can't open src file!

It's message from your compiler, PSPad shows only compiler output.
In my opinion, work directly on shared drive folder is bad idea. OneDrive will lock files during your work and cause problems.

Looks like the compiler does not get the filename to compile, only the directory? The source file should not be C:\Users\goldmj6\OneDrive.
There may a problem in how PSPad passes the source file name to the compiler, maybe something is misconfigured?

In the compiler setting press ? button to see whole command line. Your file must be open.
If there are spaces in the path, filename must be enclosed in quotas
