Occasionally when I am editing HTML, a yellow square marker will appear next to the line number. What is this marker/indicator?

It's an indicator that you changed that line and the change hasn't been saved yet. When you save the file they turn green. At least, in my case.
If there's a way to turn these off/on I'm not sure.

There is no option yet. I plan to add it

Thanks all. I've been using PsPad for years and I've never noticed it until recently. And it doesn't appear consistently. It may be that I've never noticed it since I recently switched to a dark themed background. But again, I don't see it every time I make a change to a line.
Please understand, this is no big hindrance to me. I was just curious. I'm sure there are much more pressing matters.
thanks again.
