Hello all,
I have a problem.
Since some time it happens in irregular intervals that automatically somewhere in the script these strange characters replace brackets or even "else".
This is of course dangerous, because you never know where and also not exactly what has been replaced. The script fails after that, of course.
$.ajax({
method: 'POST',
url: '/cms/inc/backendSaveData.php',
data: data,
error: function(jqXHR, textStatus) {
ÿ 㰐ޒ
success: function(response) {}
});
Many thanks and best regards
Florian

I have same problem, it's so random and it's like always somewhere where is { or }. Fortunately it's usually only " }". It looks like some memory leak?? Last time it was "try {". It does when file is opened. I'm copying project, so I'm using it to diff or diff with disk file to see if it happens.

I am having the same problem and you are correct... it is dangerous because it doesn't show until someone uses the file in the project and it fails.
am using 506, but it has been a problem prior to this version

I have had this problem with PSPad since version 4.x too. It happens randomly. This is why I backup my files. Since I use PSPad to write Perl programs, this causes the program to stop working. It gets a compile error, or rather a "code check" error, since Perl is not technically compiled (normally).
Since I use PSPad to edit .pl files the most, I only see it in .pl files. It happens for me every 3-4 months, and on Windows 7, 8, and 10.

I had this problem for years with PSPAD. Random Ascii characters pop up in my source. Could this be from a virus where the program is being compiled? Can this please be fixed?

I do what I can. If I have situation what causes problem and its repeatable, it would helps me to fix it.
Now I rewriting file open close procedures and it will be much easier locate problem for me.
