#1 How to make multi-instance default?

Posted by: gurete | Date: 2020-05-23 16:52 | IP: IP Logged

I found in settings /system integration that there is an option checked , only one program instance. But that option seems not allowed to be disabled.

I need that, for every launch of the program, a new independent windows comes up, and I'm aware of the /n command line option, but it is not useful in this situation.

Is there an option to make multi-instance default? If so, which is the file that should be changed and how?
Thanks!

Hello

Options marked with red square are stored in the PSPad_MU.INI file next to PSPad.exe
You can modify it starting PSpad as administrator or modifying PSPad_MU.INI manually.

There was a bug in the 5.0.3 version, what disallow to edit some options. This bug was fixed in 5.0.4 builds - available in the PSpad developer forum.
