Recent files not being saved

Hi, I am wondering how to fix this issue?

In Program Settings > Files and Dirs I made the following settings:

Save Recent File List is checked
Remember File State is checked
Save Work / Desktop is set to All Opened Files
Remember Last Directory is chosen.

So I work on some files, and have a few tabs open, but after I close PSPad and reopen it, all the files and tabs are not there. I have to add them all over again.

How do I fix this issue?
