Re: External programs limited to 5

Would it be possible to increase this number, it's so useful?

Limit for 5 tools is for project or for highlighter (language)
In the left favourite tab you have possibility to unlimited external tools.

It's the limit for highlighter that blocks me. 5 is very low!
Is there any reason to such a limitation? If no technical problem, why not to increase it to something like 20?

Can you write me any example when you will use 20 (more than 5) external application for one highlighter?

I have specific config files where I want to launch various batch files like syntax checks, regex search in all sub-directories, etc.
I need at least 8 programs.
This is my specific needs but I'm sure others may have plenty of other reasons to require more than 5.

In my first answer I told you, that you can have any count of external programs in the left favourite tab.
I think it can be suitable for you.

1. By copying the exact same entries as in highlighters, it doesn't work!?!
It's a BAT, not an EXE; is this the problem? No idea.
I suppose it'll be possible to troubleshoot this...

2. As I have many external programs, putting all highlighters together gives a huge list, which isn't very handy

3. The tool panel is much more obtrusive than the control buttons
