I'm running php in XAMPP so they could be coming from either. They contain php source code. I did change some pspad settings but nothing affecting e.g. backup.
Thanks in advance

hello

If you preview modified file or select part of the file and preview it, PSPad will create temporary file and this file will be send as preview or into external application.
Any external application (your web server or browser) works with existing file on the disk. The solution is save file before any preview, but the automatical file save can be unwanted.
