is there any way to get a "Close current tab" shortcut? Normally Strg+W does this in most "tab-based" programms. Would be nice to set this too.

Ctrl+F4 is standard for close tab in the Windows world (MDI applications). Ctrl+W comes with internet browsers

If you like Ctrl+W better, go to program settings / KeyMap, select File and change shortcut for File close action

Oh, I must have missed something. Sorry! Last time I tried PsPad.exe closed. I guess I choosed a wrong entry.

And youre right, Ctrl+F4 is standard. It's just that people (like me) get used to Ctrl+W because of Eclipse, Android Studio, Notepad++, Oracle MySQL Bench etc...
