Re: Wrong live-preview on Task View screen

On Windows 10, PsPad live-preview on Task View screen is not correct.
Especially after opening text finding box by pressing Ctrl+F.

The live-preview shown on Task View screen is the text finding popup
and is not the main window of PsPad, even when the text finding popup
has already been closed.

Live preview on the task manager is operating system business, not an application business. OS decides when it makes a snapshot.

this is about Windows 10.
windows 10 does not only take snapshots, it's live preview of a window.

pspad should implement the mechanism for windows 10 to get live preview.
an application can put anything as live preview, eg. an image.

it's about user experience.
anyway, i love PsPad (programmers' pad)

i'm using pspad everyday with windows 10,
and on window+tab screen i see my search box (ctrl+f) most of the time

try watching a youtube clip, and press window+tab, it's live!

I don't know how to explain you that application doesn't create "preview" for OS. OS creates preview from application.
It's the same as you ask web page developer to make his web updated in browser tab preview.

I will try to look if there isn't any possibility to force OS create new snapshot.

Anyway, it's possible it disappear after I will move PSPad to new Delphi version. But then more power I will put into fixing things like this one, then longer it will take.

Windows 10 taskbar is bad anyway. Try "7+ Taskbar Tweaker" maybe it makes your life easier too. I have no problem with PSPad since using it.

jan, yeah next release with more features would be lovely.
