Please make a difference between Hex editor and text editor.
There is no problem to print any text edited in the editor. But you don't edit text but binary file.

PSPad 4.5.8 (2471)
When I open a file in the hex editor, I also cannot print the file or save it. For text files, I should be able to print the hex columns. For other files, when I make changes, I should be able to save the changes to the file.
PSPad works fine for text files opened with the text editor though.

You have of course possibility to save HEX file. There is missing possibility to print HEX files only.
In menu File Save ison is available, toolbar button is greyed but available. Gray toolbar button means there is no change made in file.

Why bother to open binary files, which PsPad does, edit them, and then not be allowed to save or print them?? Sure, the save button is there, but clicking on it has no effect. Nothing is saved.

Please read my answers.
I wrote you, you can edit and save binary file in PSpad HEX editor without any problem. Save button and Save menu item in the file menu is active.
PSPad doesn't know print files from HEX editor. The reason is simple - nobody wont it up to now.

I think printing (small) binary files as hex-dump
is a "nice to have"
I must go to my unix box for this.
