Hi
When I use CTRL+O my default view is without the drive and folders shown in left tab, but your file open dialog gives me an option to enable that.
But when I browse for folders and files, I can't se hidden folders and files, even if I rebooted my computer, logged on as local admin, started explorer.exe and enabled view of hidden folders and files, started pspad.exe, CTRL+O, enabled left tab view of folders and files.
And your file open dialog doens't give me an option to enable view of hidden folders and files.
Work-around: Use explorer.exe, rightclick a hidden file, select PsPad.exe
I needed this option in pspad.exe to open:
C:\Users\<MyUserName>\AppData\Roaming\PSpad\PsPad.ini

Hi
Just found out, that in the left tab with drives and folders, I can't see my extra mapped drives to my fileservers, but I can see then using explorer.exe
In your file open dialog box, I can only see my drive C: and D: using my Computer, and using Network, I can't see my extra mapped drives, as drive H:, K:, M:, but only my UNC paths to our company's 3.500 computers, and our fileservers.

And I also found out, that when using UNC paths, your file open dialog box doesn't give me an option to browse to a "higher" folder, but only to subfolders.
Work-around: Type .. as filename, and press ENTER

Hi Pspad
Any news about this topic?
Maybe only a hint about a new Build, that solves this issue, or maybe closing this ticket, because it can't be solved

Hi begelowlqebc
Yes, I can also see them using Explorer.exe, but I would also like to see them using PsPad's file open dialog box

I found a reason after long time of play.
When you have disabled to view hidden files and folders, PSPad wont show it for you. If you enable it, you will see it.
I know, it's wrong. I will try to find a way.
It's a little complicated, cause PSpad is written in Delphi 7, and this version doesn't count with new Vista and Windows 7 controls. All must be workarrounded by system hooks.

Hi Pspad
On my Windows 7 32 bit Enterprise computer, I have enabled
[Config]
ShowHiddenFiles=1
and I have enabled show hidden files, folders and drives in Explorer.exe
And I still can't see the hidden files in PsPad
But I'm happy to know, that you are working with a solution
