Set wrap as default

#1 Set wrap as default

Posted by: marc77 | Date: 2021-11-29 09:33 | IP: IP Logged

Hello,

I use Version 5.0.4 and a Win10 PC. Newer versions gave me sometimes a crash, so I decided to you use 5.0.4 a bit longer.

I have set "Programm settings > Editor (part 1) > Wrap (soft) with Right Edge"

But that makes no difference. If I close the file and open it again, I have to set

"View > Word Wrap Lines" again.

Is there any option to set "Word Wrap Lines" for default?

Thank you

Best regars
Marc

Right edge is vertical line, in default on the position 80
WordWrap can be done with this line or with window width, so your option has no influence of default wraping.

PSPad should remember (if has access to write into PSPad.ini) if last document was wrapped and should use WordWrap next time you run it.

There can be problem with file size, because there is a limit for automatical wordwrap.
You can increase it in the program settings / Direct edit button
MaxWrapSize=200000 (in bytes)
Change it e.g. to 1 million
