#1 (Some) settings lost after crash

Posted by: knulo | Date: 2021-01-12 17:21 | IP: IP Logged

Hi,

no big problem, but some kind of annoying: after PSPad crashes (while saving or re-loading file from disk), some settings are lost after restart PSPad i.e.:
- tab width (editor)
- line numbers (view)
- exclude list (files and folders)
- show PSPad in context menu (system integration)

PSPad.ini resides in program folder, Win 10 prof.
Any suggestions?

BTW: Would the stack trace help to figure out the reason for crashing?

Kind regards
Knut

Hello

Is there PSpad exception when crashes?
In the PSpad folder should be backup of PSpad.ini. When SPpad.ini is damaged and PSpad find it, it uses backup. Backup of PSpad.ini is automatically created when you save settings.
