project file opens in new PSPAd instance?

#1 project file opens in new PSPAd instance?

I am working on a Thunderbird addon which has js, html, css files and a manifest.json.

All files open in a tab, the json opens a new instance. Why? How can I change that? It is part of the project, so it belongs into a tab.

I open the files by doubleclicking in the file list tree on the left.

thanks,

Klaus

JSON extension isn't known by PSPad.
PSpad opens from project known extension and unknown extensions are send to assigned application. So I don't know how did you assign PSpad to JSON.
Open menu settings / JavaScript
On the second tab is list of assigned extensions, add there *.json

From this moment PSpad will know JSON extension. Clicking on your manifest will open it as any other known file directly in PSpad

many thanks.

Yes, I knew that a long time ago. But mixed it up with the registered file type, where I entered json. (which obviously didn't help)

Just for other users: in most recent pspad, you find it at settings highliter settings <choose language> set extensions in File Masks

another thanks,

Klaus
