Macros & Control Characters

Is there a way to do a control character in a PSPad macro or call a shortcut key combination or access the menu?

For example, I've tried ecCTRL, [CTRL], CTRL, {CTRL} - nothing works.

Makro is used for simple text manipulation.
Look at PSPad scripting, you can do anything you need.
