Hi,
i like your program very much, but there's one little thing i miss.
It's a function like in Mozilla Firefox, when you press strg+f (to search), put in the expression you are searching for, and then HIGHLIGHT all entries in the whole website.
Is there a simple possibility to do this with PSPad?
Would be very nice.
greetings
Stefan

Hi,
i know this "list" button , but that's not the point.
i need to highlight all found entries in the textfile, not in a list where i see only the entries where the search expression.
with a highlight function you can find the essential information around the search expression in textfiles very fast.
i thought it would be not such a problem to implement such a little feature...
it would be very nice to see this in a feature version of pspad!
greetings
Stefan

This is much like one of the Google toolbar's features. I agree that this can be very useful sometimes.

(Temporary) Highlighting search results is a great feature that I really miss in PSPAD.

I would also appreciate this feature. In Notepad++ it's called smart highlighting: doubleclicking a word highlights all corresponding matches.

I definately second this too!
I have been using EditPad Pro for about 1,5 years before I made the jump to PSPad, and although I think PSPad is the better editor, I really miss EditPad Pro's highlight function.
See a screenshot here:
www.regular-expressions.info
(The screenshots shows highlights for a regex, but if you'd type "$_GET" it would hightlight all occurances of "$_GET")
Incoporate this style of highlighting into PSPad, and I'll be just about ready to MARRY this editor!!

Yes, that's a very good and needed feature.
I'd love to see it in PSPad, too.
It's very useful when you're coding.
You can select a word, and all the same words in the file will be highlighted automatically.
If you're coding, then you can see where the selected word is used or modified. That's a very useful feature.
Jan, please consider to implement it
