Hi Jan,
Would it be possible for you to widen the window of the Search & Replace prompt to suit the width of the line displayed.
I must have very long lines as they are always split in the display and so it is harder to determine quickly where the line is in the file.
Can I also repeat my older request that the "Replace with" toggle stays on once the user has selected it.
Thanks,

Did you tried the latest 4.5.8 build from the PSPad developer forum? Width of the search/replace dialog was increased

Hi Jan,
Yes I have got the latest version.
The number of characters displayed in the window is apporximately 60.
I realise that many users may not have longer lines, but would it be a problem if the width was increased ?
Thanks,

Do you mean don't wrap long lines during printing? I added it into ToDo, but it hasn't big priority

Go to program settings / Tools
uncheck Replace - fill in Replace field with clipboard
Related width of the Search/replace dialog - it is done already, wait for next build

Checkbox in Find in files is disabled due to users security. It's very easy to replace anything in big folder, but hard to return it back.
I don't think it's hard to handle it:
fill in search string
press TAB + Space
fill in replace string
