Hi Folks,
Is it possible to select a tag pair without selecting the texts between the tags?
I wanted to know if you can select a specific tag followed by delete tag, but without affecting the texts between the tags?
Also, I noticed that it is not possible to select a tag pair when the cursor is on the closing tag element.
The only way is to install Emmet and take advantage of the support for extensions or Script
Thanks.

???
1. No you can not select multiple areas in PsPad, only a block or with alt + mouse a column.
2. You can delete Tags with replace regexp i.e. <div.*?>
3. You never can select a Tag pair whatever position the cursor might have.

Sure you can
Ctr+Shift+T in opening Tag
See Edit menu.
Andreas:2. You can delete Tags with replace regexp i.e. <div.*?>
You can also use the Find or the Replace dialog
and click at the [!] exclamation mark button.

Ctr+Shift+T does not select a Tag pair, it selects an HTML element incl. inner HTML. This even works with cursor in closing Tag.

That's strange Andreas.
I am running the portable version and the latest I can download is this version:
PSPad - current version 4.5.7 (2450) - 25 January 2013
www.pspad.com
On this version and when working with XML files, you cannot select the "element incl. inner text content" when the cursor is at the closing element position.

With *.xml files I can confirm an incorrect behavior when cursor is in closing Tag. Tested with different syntax highlighters.
