I updated from 4.5.4. to 4.5.5. and I add 24-text_to_table, 152-XMLFormat and 204-ASCII_Set_32-255.
After that, when I open PSPad I get a window with "Support for 'JScript' active scripting not found! Install WSH with requested language support". I have W7 64 bit.

You have 2 possibilities:
1. in program settings / System disable PSpad scripting if you don't use it
2. In Internet explorer settings allow local scripting

Hi
Another possibility
pimenta:I updated from 4.5.4. to 4.5.5. and I add 24-text_to_table, 152-XMLFormat and 204-ASCII_Set_32-255.

My "rights" are effective. I'm using PSPad from years...
Same message
Quote:"Support for 'JScript' active scripting not found!
Install WSH with requested language support"
Remove scripts, one by one. You will find "the script" causing the problem.
If an error occur in JScript = JScript is now not reachable! That's causing the message in my PSPad install.
I find the fault in a 'bad' (not updated, old) script
tag_close.js very old
// filename : tag_close.js
// description: Automatic closing html tag
// created : 08.10.2006
// author : Serge Balance
//
// You may distribute this script freely, but please keep this header intact.
//*******************************************************************************
var MODULE_NAME = "autoclosing TAG";
var MODULE_VER = "1.2";
var MODULE_TITLE = "Automatic closing html tag";
any_tag_close.js old version
// filename : tag_close.js
262-any_tag_close_1.7.1.zip is ok
// description: Automatic closing html, xml, xsl and any arbitrary tag
// created : 08.10.2006 - 17.10.2006
// author : Serge Balance
//
// You may distribute this script freely, but please keep this header intact.
//*******************************************************************************
var MODULE_NAME = "autoclosing TAG";
var MODULE_VER = "1.7";
var MODULE_TITLE = "Automatic closing html, xml, xsl and any arbitrary tag";
Not same name of file but same base of code. Duplicate = close the JScript = Support for 'JScript' active scripting not found! ...
@PSPad I never get this message before. I have made scripts and gets errors many time in the past but never get this message before last week. With the message, Recompile script is erratic or close PSPad. This is new!
Just from a week whitout any change in my installation or configuration of PSPad.

Good idea.
The problem was with 152-XMLFormat.
I deleted it.
Thanks

A encountered this problem when I added plenty of scripts and in the end I've found out that it's caused by non-js files in JScript directory as *.txt, *.html etc. - when you move them to ".." then jscripts load as usual

In script folders must be script files only. No other files.
This isn't bug.
PSpad has no chance to know if file is script or not, cause he doesn't know which scripting languages are installed in WSH. You can use any scripting language and use it in PSpad scripting.

Surely,
I only react on "PsPad 4.5.5 (2417) script problem" (no possibility to react in "Bug report" section):
pspad:1. You havn't installed WSH on your computer
2. You havn't enabled local scripting in internet options
and I'm adding:
3. You loaded a non-script file with a script package - move it up (or anywhere but script folders)

I got a similar error after adding emmet.js to my PSPad JScript folder; the problem turned out to be a simple matter of security permissions on that file -- see details in my other reply here:
