I often need an editor for block mode operations.
That mean I want to mark/delete/copy e.g. all columns from 12 to 27 from lines 23 to 40.
For that I would like to invoke a block mode by hotkey e.g. ALT.
When I press the hotkey and use the mouse a vertical block line/area
should be marked.
Is this possible in PsPad?
If yes: How exactly?
Is it possible to assign the ALT as hotkey to block mode=ON

Ah, ok, thank you.
BUT: When I use the column mode then at least ONE full column must be marked.
What, if I want to insert an "a" between column 7 and 8 for multiple lines?
I cannot mark a column of width=0 (= just specify insert position).
I expected in that case to appear just a vertical line. But there is none.
How do I handle this situation?

Hello
You can use insert text to lines (alt+i) function

Ok, so there is no visual vertical line for block mode like it appears e.g. in Notepad++?
