Ok, after some testing the problem is that the ASCII chart respects the setting for text color, but ignores setting for background color, hence white text on white background for me.

OK, colors are fixed.
I removed all non single byte code pages from ASCII chart.

...Just writing to confirm that Program Settings dialog looks properly scaled in the latest builds on my hi-res display, using 250% scaling under Windows 10.

Much thanks. Now back to using PSPad.

Nice! smiling smiley

Glad to see code page 866 by default. Second surprise -- saved Russian.ini with ANSI encoding get worked! I think, due to my system settings, with another system ANSI encoding it shouldn't work. Don't know, is setting like CodePage=1251 in ini-file really needed, just for ~20 KB benefit... But, if this feature remain work as semi-official hack, I will be completely glad.

You did great work, Jan. Thanks.

Oh, I forgot about URL → Text and Base64 → Text, now working great! No more online encoders/decoders, I can do all work with PSPad. grinning smiley

Jan, can you add separators between character set groups? For example, on right click on status bar popup menu:

ANSI
OEM
-----
Unicode ...
Unicode ...
Unicode ...
-----
ANSI ...
ANSI ...
ANSI ...
ANSI ...
-----
ISO ...
ISO ...

OEM ...

I dont think its necessary. You can customize your own set, it means you can drag/drop change order and select few for you uaefull CP for the menu.

All CP and IDE manipulation is much easier now. I can focus effort on functionality instead of solve environment problems.
