Highlight matching brackets seems to have stopped working?

I recently upgraded (?) to Windows 8.1, and had to upgrade PSPad as well. I've tried both this build and 2469 and checked the "Settings -> Program Settings -> Editor (part 1)" to make sure the "Highlight Matching Brackets" is on. But it doesn't seem to be highlighting them anymore.

in the new version, can you enter a chance to see in real time while you write the auto-completion window [Ctrl + J] (As in Visual Basic Studio)? It would be fantastic and greatly reduce the time of writing the code.

Autocompletion can be fired automatically - program settings / Editor 2 - set autocomplete delay on the bottom of settings page to any nonzero time in ms

I'm assuming this was meant to fix the problem with ANSI saves "File contents were saved: reload?" (as per this thread): if so, I can report that it now works perfectly for me, thanks for your hard work!
