Hello,

I have found a small bug (don't know if it already exists in previous version)
In order to reproduce the bug, open PSPad and paste the following sentence 10 times
You should have this :
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,
"1234567980,

Now, select a block (column block with Alt+Mouse) and try to delete the first two characters (Tab and ") on all lines (and do not forget to select the last line like screenshot bellow).

See screenshot :
image

PSPad delete the block but also delete the character 1.

Can you reproduce the behavior?
Do you think you could correct it in the next release?

If you need my PSPad.ini, please, let me know.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Lolo - tested your scenario and I cannot replicate the problem with v2353.

Well, I was able to replicate the bug... and I am running the latest 2353 build.

Instead of just deleting the first two characters (tab, double-quote), it is also deleting the next char (the number "1")

So, the final list shows up like this.

234567890,
234567890,
234567890,
234567890,
234567890,
....

Pressing Ctrl+Z does not get back the "1"s.

You must activate "Scroll past EOL and EOF" in Editor-Options part 1

In version 2351 the VBScript highlighter was changed to recognise the underscore (_) as a line continuation character.

Unfortunately (probably due to my miscommunication), PSPad is treating it as continuation character anywhere in the line and not only at the end of a line (or last character [excluding spaces] before a CRLF].

So what is happening is if for instance you have a variable called FOR_READING then the FOR section is taken as being the key wordforas in the looping constructFor Eachand not as part of the varible.

I'm currently running 4.5.4 (2346).
Has this been fixed yet, or would it be possible to fix?
I just discovered an issue that when I try to print a document, it autowraps long lines, and if one of those is at the end of the page it wraps past the page margin and part of the line doesn't get printed. This should wrap to the next page.

Thanks for this great editor, Jan.
I would like to submit a bug I noticed a while ago: in the Settings->Highlighter Settings->Compiler->Parameters I cannot use the | character (to allow me to grab the compiler output and process it further with another command), whenever I save and return back to the field the | gets replaced by a ", and it's not working. But I can use this trick just fine in the Project->Project Settings->Compiler->Parameters.
I know I could just write a batch file to call the compiler and the command after it, but I just wanted to raise this bug.
Another thing, I set my clips to expand on SPACE instead of CTRL+SPACE, and it's working fine, but I was wondering if it's possible or if there's a setting to not expand if I'm in the middle of entering a comment? For example, I don't want to expand an "if" when I'm writing it in a comment.
Thanks,
Cris

There isn't problem to write simple batch file and use it for compiler run. You can do anything inside your batch.

Ctrl+Space is general functionality, it doesn't recognize if it is in comment or not. If you don't want to expand it in comment, don't call it in comment.
