Use any compression tool (Winrar, winZip, 7Zip, ...). any can handle CAB correctly.
You can use PSpad install utility from PSpad download page. It will unpack PSPad.CAB into folder you specify correctly

pspad:mgutt:Something I really missed since Dreamweaver:
- a doubleclick on $var marks "$var", a doubleclick on array['var'] marks "var". I wish to have "var" in both cases.And many users wants to mark whole variable include '$'
At the moment pspad supports both:
<?php
// marks $foo:
$foo = 'bar';
// marks foo:
?>
<?= $foo ?>
So nobody has a benefit ;)
human:Therefore: if this behaviour is wanted by some, and by some others not it needs to be configurable. Maybe it is already, like it was with the "end of line & trailing spaces".
Nothing found by now :P

One of the things I've never understood:
CTRL + Z = Undo
CTRL + SHIFT + Z = Redo
Thats how I know it:
CTRL + Z = Undo
CTRL + Y = Redo
Or is this a typical german thing?

No, I don't think so.
CTRL+Y is Redo CTRL+Z is Undo
I think, this is a PSPAD specific shortcut (CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Maybe change this in next Version?

The Windows standard shortcut for Undo is CTRL+Z, the one for Redo is CTRL+Y, and nearly every program I use applies to this standard. In PSPad though, CTRL+Y is assigned to deleting the line the cursor is currently being on, I think that's what mgutt meant. As the keyboard shortcuts in PSPad are fully configurable by the user this is not a big problem, just go to Settings/Program settings/Key map and change it. The real good question is: Why was the default configuration in PSPad chosen like this? A Program shouldn't differ from a standard without a good reason, and I didn't find one in this case. Perhaps the default configuration could be changed the way that Redo gets CTRL+Y and DeleteLine gets CTRL+SHIFT+Z, Jan?

Long bevor MS$-Windows, Borlands Turbo-Pascal (on MSDos 2.x/3.x) use Ctrl-Y to delete a Line.
This is "Standard" in all Borland IDE-Produkts when using the "Clasic" Key-Layout in Delphi/C++ etc.
I use Cntl-Y very oft,
and i like Editors that do so too.

Anybody has possibility to change keyboard layout.
Keyboard layout can by saved and load.
If you prepare keyboard layout, i can include it in PSpad distribution and/or modify installer to give user chance to choose keyboard layout during PSpad installation
