Thanks for the FlashFXP-import-NONSSL-thing. smiling smiley

Another issue:
I use a dark theme. White text on black background.

Since 2317 the background for the Log- and FTP-tab is the same as in the editor, which is fine.

Unfortunately the background-color for "Search Results" and "Search in Files" is not black, so I have white text as in the editor on white background.

Is it me or is this a bug? If it is me, where can I change the background-color of the Search-tabs to be the same as in the editor?

One remark: I can't see symbolic links in the FTP-tab of the Tool Panel anymore. Is this a bug? In previous versions, symlinks were supported in this tab.

Cheers,
Jeroen.

There is a many servers, each one has own format (stupid thing). Connect to your FTP server, open FTP LOG, press LIST button and send me result with some links in maill attachment. I need only list of files, you can delete rest.

Thank you for the update.

Unfortunately, PSPad still has the annoying "slow screen rendering" bug.

It started in r2303. r2301 still is fast.

Try scrolling a large file (1000+ long lines) using PGDOWN. You can see that r2319 is way slower than r2301.

Each time you press PGDOWN, you can see how pspad renders the screen, line by line. In r2301, if you press PGDOWN, you see the next page instantly.

You have the same effect when using ALT+TAB.

This also happens when starting pspad.exe from a clean directory.

ciao,
Thomas

No, I had syntax highlighting turned off. Switching off highlight matching brackets makes no difference either.

But I found out another interesting thing. Normally, i am using Windows XP. I have Cleartype font antialiasing turned on normally. When I turn off Cleartype, screenrendering under XP is much faster then with Cleartype turned on, but not as fast as PSPad v2301. So, there is a big difference.

In Windows 2000, screen rendering is way faster, because Windows 2000 does not support Cleartype.

But: no matter what antialiasing setting I turn on, versions prior to v2303 are extremely fast.

So: no matter what settings in PSPad or Windows you have, there is a HUGE drop in screenrendering performance since v2303.

ciao,
Thomas

Hi,

I have not tested into deep, but version 2317 and version 2319 discard german umlauts from txt files. If I create new ones, umlauts are ok, loading older txt files (< version 2317) the effect occurs. But obviously not always. I can not find a reason for that.

I checked the tested files with different xx-pads: The files are ok, as far as I can see.

Any hints?

Regards,
NoSi
