2298 is a 4.5.3 full release. PSPad pages are full of information of this release.

The filetab problem that seemed to appear in 2296 still exists. I lose the bottom tabs whenever I open a file that needs another row. I can get them back by cycling the "File Tabs - Panel on Top" option. I can also click on a mostly hidden tab to access it, but that doesn't restore the row. Running Windows 2000.

Keep up the great work!

oups, i thought it was already relased by a previous build (2291).
Sorry, I missed the point.

Hi,

Today I found that LOG parser for Compiler or Favorite Tools are not working correctly in this version. I mean, LOG parser is correctly configured in in debug mode works OK but when I run compiler and then I double click at error line in LOG Window there is no transition to selected line.

I check 2296 version and it works correctly with the same pspad.ini and files.

Confirmed. Applies to 2298 too.

Another findings:
I've started to create hot clips for mediawiki, so I created mediawiki syntax file (ini) and I edited the DEF file and put there:

[bold | make selection bold]*Ctrl+Shift+B
'''§''
[cBlue | make selection blue]
<font color="blue">§</font>
[cBlue | make selection red]
<font color="red">§</font>

When I start using it I found that the clips doesn't work every time when they are executed. Recovery is to switch to other open document (Ctrl+Tab) and back and that clips start working for short time.
I'm not able to find repeatable scenario for this; sometimes clips stop working after first usage and sometimes after severals.

Other thing is that when I select some text and call Hot Clips window (Ctrl+Space), not all clips are listed (e.g. selection'cB' text cause that clips with cB at the beginning are listed only).

Jan,

thanks a lot for this new beta!

I can confirm that the regression of C functions disappearing from C/C++ Code Explorer function list, which had showed up since beta 2281, has now been fixed.

Well done!
