Thank you for the new build. Love to hear that you finally found the cause of this annoying little status bar redraw problem.

Hi,

I just tested the new version with win98.

I have still the same problem:

With TotalCommander and PSPad as editor.
First press of TC F4 file loaded ok in PSPad.
Second file with TC F4 it apears in PSPad, but before
PSPad.exe is loaded in hex-edit mode.
So there are 3 files opened.

Still have to use 'notpad.exe' entry in TC to avoid
this.

Best regards,

Beard

Open Total commander config, go to Edit/View tab and search PSPad.EXE in dialog.
Confirm.

Still problem exits?

Hi Jan.

I think there still is a small bug in the "word wrap lines" feature. When you turn it on and when you have lines with only one character more than the limit, this character is repeated twice...

Pierre

PS: Thanks for this new release !!

Hi!

I already described this problem several times and already thought it didn't matter anyone but me. The buggy display in the print preview apparently depends on the font size in conjunction with the scaling factor used in the print preview. To prove this, select "whole page" or "page width" as scaling factor in the print preview using the toolbar button with the magnifier glass on it, and then resize the print preview window. You will see the print preview toggling between correct and buggy display. I guess it's kind of a rounding bug when creating the font for drawing the print preview window. I'm waiting at least since half a year for a solution of this problem.

Markus

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the build. I know you're busy, but since I can't get a response or a fix, I'm not sure whether I should continue to ask or not...

If it's on a list, just say so and I'll quit pestering you about it... ;)

Can the "Find" function (Ctrl-F) be made to wrap around the end of a file as it used to (for instance, build 2237 works correctly). Checking "Settings | Program Settings | Confirmation | Ask if OK to wrap search when text found" works as expected. That is, PSPad will ask to wrap the search, and does so if asked. If that option is *unchecked*, PSPad will not ask, but also *will not* wrap the search around the end of the file.

Older builds used to (correctly) just continue the search with no prompt when the above option was turned off. Can this be easily fixed? I just want to wrap the search without having to respond to the prompt.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Jeff Godfrey
