naputtelija:
Word wrapping is broken in HTML comments

Easy to verify:

<html>
<!--
long enough line, add some more text and you will see
-->
</html>

I can confirm this behavior.

#12 PSPad unicode 4.5.3 (2259) English: bug in active line highlight

Posted by: igece | Date: 2007-03-05 10:07 | IP: IP Logged

Every time an existing file is opened, the active line is highlighted for this file, no matter if 'View->Active line' is deactivated. It is necessary to check two times this option to disable active line hightlight for this file.

I don't see any "broken" problem. Can you send me screenshot with description what is wrong?

You can find example here :

Without Word Warp

With Word Warp
img138.imageshack.us

Otherwise, you can do it yourself with this piece of text:
<html>
<!--
long enough line, add some more text and you will see abcdefghijklmnopqrstuv 0123456789 Now, you can see the problem
-->
</html>

This was exactly what I was talking about when I accidentally posted in the main developer thread (sorry about that-- wish you could move or delete).
This behavior occurs in plain txt files as well.

I would send a screen shot but it looks the same as Lolo's and besides I've reverted back to 2255.

Hi,

This is a very annoying bug but it exists:

With word wrap on, long lines cannot be edited correctly.

Best regards,
Mahir

Yeah, with 2259, if I go to wordwrap mode and then just start typing within an existing HTML comment.. things start to go wacky with characters changing at the end of 2nd "line" of the word-wrapped line and characters appearing ahead of the cursor and changing around. sad smiley

2255, no such problem. Have gone back to that executable for now.

The AutoHotkey code explorer issue from build 2255 appears to have been fixed. Thanks, Jan.

Thanks for the latest release. However there is still an issue with the tabs that occurs between switching desktops. I posted a screenshot to better illustrate what I am talking about:

img148.imageshack.us

It seems to be a function of how many tabs are open. If I have <= 2 tabs open, I don't see it. But the more that are opened, the more white space is generated below the tab.
