1. disable Program settings / System / [x]Integrate with Right mouse click
2. start PSPadShell_reg.bat from this package - it will register new PSPad context menu handler. Run PSPadShell_unreg.bat to unregister it.
Limitation:
1. you have to be a system admin to register DLL
2. context menu items selection isn't implemented yet

Thanks for your works but i think PSPad now more & more unstable, it shows Access Violation with all my javascript file. I try restart windows or register PSPad shell but still errors.
Now I must go back to previous version. I've sent you the log.

1. I've disabled Program settings / System / [x]Integrate with Right mouse click, but it still appears in my context menu. Why?

1) Open RegEdit
Delete keys:
HKEY_CLASSESROOT\*\shell\PSPad
HKEY_CLASSESROOT\*\shell\PSPad Hex

2) You can't choose what items appears in the context menu at this time.

I have an issue with "Special Chars".
Not sure how I add images into this forum, but paste the following line into the editor
survey_p111448601 2005 46 1194872320

and then turn on special chars.

In my editor it seems the numbers are reverted in some kind.
Can someone try and confirm that this is not only happening on my installation?

I don't find a reason of this behaviour on some PC's.
Go to the program settings / Direct edit
Set OldSpecialChars=1

Please try to fix the double-click selection of php vars:

But check this out: (a hint to the solution should be here)

So it seems that the problem arises when the php closing tag is in the same line than the vars.

It's been long time with this bug and it annoys me more than any other thing ($$fee, $$foo... in the code). Please fix it as soon as possible.

It's problem of Synedit editor component. I havn't correct information of the current highlighter if highlighter is switched on and off in one line.

It just happens with the HTML multihighlighter (and HTML only highlighter) but not with the PHP highlighter. It's a pitty it cannot be solved.

I'm experiencing stability problems, too. I get access violations almost every time I'm trying to close PSPad or a file. And I don't want to pester anyone with this small thing, but the txt.def problem described in this misleadingly named thread persists.
