hi.
there is a strange behavior what i do not understand in keymap settings.
i made a lot of changes in shortcut keys and all work just perfect ecept one: in the format section the add/remove comment part. every time i (re)start the program this setting have to be set again. the strange part is that the value of the setting is correct, it show my value (ctrl + / instead of default valuea ctrl+shift+a). i've checked in the keymap.ini file and there is also correct. so with each program start the first thing i do is set the add/remove comment to ctrl+shift+/ and then back to ctrl+/.

Hi,
I would like to know if it is normal that the new functionnality %d:nn (max name length) is only disponible for the nine first files?
If I have more than nine opened files, the name of the tenth and the others is not cut to the maximum length.
Thanks and have a nice day.

No, it's a bug, if it works for forst nine files only

It would be nice to be able to specify "Indent bytes in UTF-8 coding" by the file type (e.g. by extension). UTF-8 for Flash (.as) files prefers this option checked. UTF-8 for ASP (.asp) files prefers this option not checked. I find myself having to switch back & forth each time I edit a different type of file. It's quite inconvenient.

Of course there is, but would be glad to have a selection between the GUI, chmod 644 and chmod 755

I don't understand. What is it "a selection between the GUI, chmod 644 and chmod 755"

Then I vote for a per file extension setting for real tabs/replace tabs with spaces as I want my .css files with real tabs and php, html and so on with spaces for indention. :)

Setting => Program Settings => Editor - Behaviour => Trim trailing spaces
I have this option enabled, but it doesn't work...
when I save my file, trailing spaces are not removed.
I was wondering: is it supposed to work on the document as a whole (i.e. trim the trailing spaces at the end of the document) or on a line-by-line basis (i.e. trim the spaces at the end of each line).
If the latter is true, then it doesn't seem to work.

This option works for writing. Has no influence of lines you don't edit.
If you want to remove blank spaces from the end of lines, use function from menu edit - remove redundant spaces
