Hi Jan,

Thanks for the 2185 update - your hard work is appreciated. smiling smiley

In the following posts:

forum.pspad.com

and

forum.pspad.com

... I mention several issues I'm having executing Tcl scripts from within PSPad. I've only noticed these after upgrading from 4.3.3 to 4.5.x. Do you need any additional information from me in order to reproduce / understand what I'm talking about? If so, I'm happy to provide whatever you need. If the problem can't be fixed for some time, I'll likely just try to go back to an older version of PSPad for a while.

Again, if you need any more info regarding the problems mentioned, just ask.

Thanks for everything.

Jeff Godfrey

What would happen if I set the value to 1 ?
Can you briefly describe it ?

And, I have some Unicode fonts, but they aren't listed in the font dialog, why?
Is it the SynEdit limitation ?

PSPad uses chars above base ASCII table (> #255) to display spaces and tabs.
If you use nonunicode font, theses chars are missing and PSPad shows you e.g. black square. This option force PSPad to use base ascii table chars for it.

Synedit uses nonproportional fonts only.

About Reformat:

It would be cool if tags that have an open and closing tag but nothing between it will not have a line break after reformating.

Example:
<iframe src='news.php?txt=1' width="340" height="92"></iframe>

Now formating as:
<iframe src='news.php?txt=1' width="340" height="92">
</iframe>

Better would be
<iframe src='news.php?txt=1' width="340" height="92"></iframe>

I'm using this with LucidaSans Typewriter and when I set OldSpecialChars to 0 then the display gets corrupted. The

private final int id;

will be displayed as

privatefinalint id;

the space between int and id will contain one single dot (marking the space actually in the file) plus some extra space not containing anything. This is with the Java highlighter

With OldSpecialChars=1 everything works fine.

#9 Unicode problem again!

Posted by: Replika | Date: 2006-02-27 11:21 | IP: IP Logged

The error when copy by Extern Copy (breaks unicode chars) is fixed but I found same problem with function Replace in Files. All unicode chars in line have replacement breaked.
