Some problem with displaying in Lucida Sans Typewriter font. The system, when it finds a hard tab character at the start of the line, displays both the tabbed spaces AND the indenting spaces.

Any editing of the line, is pushed out of line by the number of 'extra' spaces, being twice the number that is should be. Changing the font to another can solves the problem.

This has been happening for a number of versions.

I hear you. I've been experiencing this for a number of versions now, but just wasn't sure how to explain what was happening or why. I'm also using Lucida Sans Typewriter. So far, my fix has been to do a Find and Replace with regexp to replace "\t" (a tab) with two spaces. This always fixes it, but now that you've brought up that it appears to be font specific, I'm going to change my fonts now.

Thanks for sussing this out. It was driving me bonkers.

Leif.

True, changing the font removes the symptom. However, this problem was not in v4.3.3 and only appeared shortly before the formal release of v4.5.0.

And heck, I really like Lucida Sans Typewrites, and Lucida Console is just a bit squishy. smiling smiley

I reported this back in November last year, with the latest beta at the time.

forum.pspad.com.

Didn't get any response then, and as you've found out, still not fixed yet.

Vas.

Still does not highlight brackets in batch files (cmd, bat). This has not worked since going to 4.5.0. sad smiley

While were on the topic of project access via scripting...
Could we have a function return index of the currently selected item in project?

Can the option to add files to the project root be setup. Currently I open the project file as text and add the item manually.
For example:

New project
-Folder
--File
-Folder2
--File2
-File3

In addition, I would really like to have more command line options, including the following.
- print file
- open file (especially project files, *.ppr) in new instance overriding "Only One Program Instance” setting

I found a little bug:

If I am in Hex mode (Insertmode) having nothing selected, the command: Remove marked text in the toolbar is still available.
If I do so nothing happens. If I do so twice nothing happens either, but if I undo the second operation another character is inserted. yawning smiley
