Forget the above.
I changed fonts and URL's didn't highlight -- changed back to what I was using and works fine now.

PSPad isn't HTML editor only. You can modify the file extensions list in the Highlighter settings or simple change the syntax highlight from the menu View or with the toolbar button

URLs are highlighted if you switch off syntax - the tool button.
URLs are active with Ctrl+Click

That's what I described as an issue earlier and I noticed that it isn't really gone with build 2173, when I opened PSPad today. :/

Is there some ini setting to disable url highlighting in text-/no highlighting?

I'm having problems pasting clips when using the §| characters. It will work once or twice at the start, but then nothing gets pasted. It happens with the html defs and probably others as well. Doing exactly the same thing with v433 works fine. Just beta where I can't get it to work. Think it's a bug, or just me?

Here's an example of my difficulties pasting using defined clips. Take a basic html file:
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE></TITLE>
</HEAD>

<BODY>
This is a test
This is a test
This is a test
</BODY>
</HTML>

There's html tags around that of course, but they don't show up in the posting.

Double click on, say, the first word "test". Click ctrl-space and you get a list of possibilities. Select <i> and as expected you get the correct codes inserted around the highlighted word. Go down to the next line and select another word by double clicking on it. Then do ctrl-space. What I get then is a list of Table clips, not the full list of insertable clips. If I do the same with v433, I get the full list. Does that help?

Thanks,

P

1) I am editing a web page and want to watch how it looks in the internal browser.
And Sometimes it minimizes immediately.
2) I have an object which has attributes and methods. But I cannot see them in the
code explorer.

Hi Jan,
your relative new overworked line wrapper is fine, but if you write for example text documents with long lines and word wrap on, your editor goes slow.

Why do you wordwrap the hole file, after typing a character? I think, this is the reason of flickering and low speed. Try to write realy long line, copy some long text into pspad and write in it! its not suitable...

Greetings,
ShiLong
